The Asset Alliance Group Scottish Rally Championship is pleased to reveal its 2025 calendar of events, as it remains the only mixed-surface clubman championship in the UK.
The 2024 season has been another historic affair in the history of the SRC, with Asset Alliance Group joining as title sponsor and Euan Thorburn adding a fourth championship title to his collection – moving him just two behind old rival and current record holder David Bogie.
Next year promises to be no different, with a diverse calendar of seven events – starting in March and ending in September – set to test the capabilities of drivers across all classes.
Returning to its traditional early season slot, the Snowman Rally kicks off proceedings on March 1, followed by the highly-acclaimed Speyside Stages on April 26. The action then pivots to Tarmac for the Jim Clark Reivers (May 25) and Argyll rallies (June 20/21) before three classic forest events at the Scottish (July 19), Grampian (August 8/9) and Galloway Hills (September 13) round out the season.
The popular Grizedale Stages steps in as the reserve event on December 5/6.
Maintaining continuity is a key pillar of a successful championship, and with just one rally happening in each calendar month from season-start to season-end, the 2025 calendar has been designed with the competitor in mind.
“We are delighted to reveal the calendar of events for the 2025 Asset Alliance Group Scottish Rally Championship,” said Fiona Moir, SRC interim chairman.
“All seven events are unique and together make the SRC one of the toughest challenges for the national competitor anywhere in the UK. To succeed you must be fast, patient and adept at driving on both gravel and Tarmac which is no easy feat.
“We have also made a concerted effort to make the schedule as competitor-friendly as possible, with decent gaps between each rally helping to spread costs and ease the burden of taking time away from work.
“Although the 2024 season is yet to conclude, we are already extremely excited for what 2025 will have in store. Our thanks to all of the organising teams at the respective events.”
