Welcome Back to Championship Partners Part 2

In the second of our pre-season thank yous, the Asset Alliance Group Motorsport UK Scottish Rally Championship is proud to be able to continue its association with another two of its longest running and loyal partners.

Albyn Garage

Long time sponsors of the Challengers division – one of the highlights of the championship showcasing future top 10 contenders – Aberdeen based Albyn Garage have agreed to continue their support for the 2024 season. Owner Simon Hay has been a front runner in the Challengers in the past and is looking forward to squaring up against the latest crop of competitors as he makes a return to rallying in his Mitsubishi Evo 6:

“We are very happy to be supporting the Challengers again this season and we’re hopeful of seeing more good competition. I’m not sure that we still have the pace to fight for victory, but it would be good to be in the mix!”

Moates Offshore

One of the biggest characters in the SRC, Mike Moates’ company Moates Offshore has supported the SRC Juniors division for many years, both as the main category sponsor and with help for junior competitors behind the scenes.

Mike says:

“Moates Offshore are committed to continuing to support the SRC Juniors for the 2024 season. It’s nice to support the Juniors and put something back into the sport, seeing the next generation achieve success, much like Meghan O’Kane winning the Ladies title and 2023 Junior champion Robert Proudlock representing Scotland as he heads off to compete in the British Rally Championship.”

Both the Albyn Garage Challengers and the Moates Offshore Juniors have produced some of the best competition in the SRC in recent years. Everyone is looking forward to more of the same in 2024, aided by our Championship partners.

Further news on existing and new partners will be announced in the coming weeks.

Registrations for the 2024 Championship are now open at www.scottishrallychampionship.co.uk, from where Supplementary Regulations can also be downloaded.
